Discount Golf Co is the number 1 Golf distributor in the US, dealing in Golf grips and accessories. Being the largest golf accessory distributor in the US, Discount Golf wanted a stable partnership. For that, there was no better option than SEO Agent.
The Ask
The client wanted to increase their ROAS from PPC ads while cutting costs. Though itwas a curve ball, SEOAgent managed a hole in one and achieved desired results inthe shortest time possible.
We took the project inOctober 2021, and the client hadn’t run any Google adcampaigns. So these were new grounds for our partner. This meant we had toachieve exponential results quickly to convince Discount Golf Co that PPC ads areworth it.
So how did we manage to achieve such ground-breaking results?
The SEOAgent Fix
At SEOAgent, we start slow and scale up as we go because why blow through a chunky budget when we know that’s the fattest our campaign would get. After all, there’s no point in spending big bucks before dialing traffic against our keywords. So here’s how we began getting traction.
The Process(2021)
Our first objective was to get clean traffic that’s relevant to our client. We worked with a minimum viablebudget and achieved a549% increase in ROASin the first month (October 2021).
The conversions for the campaign’s first month were80, and the cost per click was$13.39. But that’s okay, itwas the first month, and we hadn’t tweaked the landing page yet.
InNovember 2021, conversions increased to around190, and the cost per conversion droppedto $7.
That’s a 47.72% drop in cost per click from October 2021 and 137.5% increase in conversions.
By the start of the new year (January 2022), we had already achieved the promised results. Still, our PPCspecialists had an appetite for more!
Let’s talk about recent times when pay-per-click ads were booming, and many businesses were moving to paid marketing.
In January 2022, Discount Golf Co stood proud at 390 conversions and around $4.5 cost per click. By this time, we had optimized our client’s landing page, and our ad copy was exploding with clicks.
A leap of 56% in conversions and drop of 35% in cost per click!
Keep in mind that these improvements were consistent month over month. How? Because we don’t rest until every penny you invest earns a dollar for you!
Since then, Discount Golf Co PPC results massively increased over time, with the highest peak in March 2022 with 574 conversions.
As of today, the client has received 2,836 conversions through Google Ads.
